What does '100% GRASS-FED & FINISHED' mean?

Our cattle live their entire lives on pasture, eating only grass and forage. Unlike conventional beef, they are never fed grain, soy, or corn. This traditional raising method results in beef that is leaner, more flavorful, and richer in beneficial nutrients like Omega-3s.

What does 'DRY-AGED' mean?

'Dry-Aged' Beef refers to a cut of beef stored in a controlled environment with low temperature and humidity for several weeks. This process allows natural enzymes to break down the meat’s connective tissue, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak with a concentrated taste. Some moisture loss occurs from the exterior, which is later trimmed off. This method is considered a premium technique for enhancing beef quality.

Do I have to buy in bulk?

No — there is no bulk requirement. You’re welcome to purchase as much or as little as you’d like, whether it’s a single cut or a larger order. We also offer discounted options for whole, half, and quarter beef.

From Sea to Soil

Our journey began with a life lived on the open water. Ted Sanford's path from California to Rhode Island was shaped by a deep reverence for the land. In 1978, he established our farm on a 70-acre woodlot, building a legacy of self-sufficiency and sustainable farming that continues to guide our work today.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Regenerative Stewardship

We work with the land, not against it. Rotational grazing, composted manure, and responsible pasture management help improve soil health and support healthy ecosystems.

Pasture-Raised Livestock

Our cattle spend their lives on pasture, grazing fresh grass and living in a low-stress environment. Every decision we make begins with the health of the herd.

100% Grass-Fed Quality

From birth to harvest, our cattle are raised on grass and forage alone. The result is flavorful, nutrient-dense beef produced with complete trasnparency.
